Overview
Fall had arrived, just by the crisp air and the hue of the sun noticed that Sunday Morning in October. The order of the wedding was the per usual with the ceremony at 12:30pm, followed by cocktail hour, and then a warm reception from 2 to 5:30pm, with no more than 40 family and friends at Watermill Caterers.
The sign read, “as two families are becoming one, we ask that you choose a seat and not a side,” as guests entered the chapel. At the reception, the fireplace roared, and the room smelled of logwood burning, which made the room toasty as all gathered for good cheers and merriments.
Not only did these two beautiful souls celebrate one of the most important days of their lives, but Marq sealed it with a poem dedicated to his wife, that partly read, “today is a beautiful day, where we celebrate you and me, …a day marked by years in the making, each new day with you is a new day I can’t wait to see. A love like this that we share is something that truly comes once in a lifetime…”
Georgia & Marq’s planning time with UR Event by Shaune began 8 months before their wedding date. At about four months before they were to say, “I do,” they announced to us that they were pregnant… yay! This is where our full planning service stepped into high gear of timeline and budget management, vendor selection, ceremony program and thank you card design and print, and clear communication to ensure that “concerns” were addressed quickly and professionally, leaving our couple as stress-free as possible.
We left our couple celebrating in the words of Beres Hammond, “What a Night,” “I am forever… we are forever.”
